I proudly voted Cobra. Unless money is absolutely positively not an issue at all getting the boss would be idiotic. Yeah I said it.
+1 Not too mention there are a lot of great points in this thread. If money is no object, definitely the boss. If money is, then well the answer is simple. Also, what are your plans for the car? Forged internals are a big part of it too, the terminator can handle 1000rwhp as it sits, it'll take a little getting there but that's a big plus in my eyes. A boss you'll have to forge. I personally am a Terminator nut hugger and would buy one over a boss, but money would be an object for me. Just my two cents.....
Well hell, I guess I'll go out on a limb. I vote Termi. I love my new edge, and you can get a nice termi and not go broke or lose you're *** doing so. Plus I hate all the electronic crap they put in new cars. I like the basic interior and rugged feel of the new edge, it feels more like a real muscle car. Take the money you'd spend on a boss, put half that into a termi, and run circles around the new boss. Unless you pull in a 6 digit salary a year, I say don't go for the boss just yet. Better yet, go get the real deal, well maybe a clone, but you know you want this:
If it's just a toy and not going to be a DD, IMO get something truly old school (60's maybe early 70's). It's a TRUE muscle car, and it will only appreciate in value, provided you don't do something stupid to it (wrap it around a tree). Plus insurance is only a few hundred bucks a year.
that video makes me miss my Cougar.....and makes me want new cams right now.

With the price of the Boss starting at $40,000 plus what ever dealer mark up would be money would be an issue right now. Maybe when the truck was paid off not so much. Right now with a cool $10,000 down on a nice clean used 04' Cobra life would be good. The Cobra would be my weekend car just like the truck. It would stay mostly stock except maybe for a tune and engine dress up items. They are out there. I found a Mystichrome with low miles for $24,000 unmolested along with a Torch Red. My wife did ask me why I would want two of the exact same cars, of course she does not understand the difference between the two, but to her they both look the same. GT and Cobra. She said keeping the truck at least you have something different. Damn her!
