^Good idea....

Another option is -

Sell the SS, sit on the money for a year until you can get a SLIGHTLY used 6.2L Raptor AND a built shortblock. That way you can have a MONSTER of a truck and you can boost the eva-lovin' shlt out of your Mustang!!!

Keep that SS. If you was into off-roading I dont think trading it for a boss or cobra would be on the table. Keep that thing and put heads,cam and an intake on it you know how th ls series respond well to those type of mods. Have a blown stang and a bad a$$ truck that can Almost run with it.

The Boss would be my choice if you take money out of the equation. The cobra is going to be cheaper though.
