Basically to get a good 1/4mi time for your car you have to launch it good....

Anyone can learn to bang gears pretty fast... The trick is leaving the line good...

Figure in my car if i get a 1.70 60ft...I will run 7.3xx 1/8 mi and 11.3xx 1/4 mi
1.60 60ft... I get a 7.1xx 1/8 mi and i run ~11.1 1/4mi

The average rule is for every .1 second you cut off in the first 60ft you save .2 in the 1/4. It has worked for me... But it changes..

Hmmm...
Sounds like your car is running pretty good down the back end of the quarter!
You are gaining more than 23mph on the back end.

You need to try running with some DRs now.

His car isn't full boltons, he has stock gears and was on street tires. His time isn't bad especially considering his bad 60' time. I'm sure your V6 would be faster than his car with the same mods though.
