T45 Transmissions - Do you have one?
#13
Hi Teej281,
Sorry I missed this question earlier. No, we don't build 3650s.
We do an extensive build on the T45, permanently fixing the reverse disconnect system, upgrading the shifter mechanism and shift forks, upgrading the blocker rings from the paper/organic liner to the carbon/kevlar, and upgrading the input shaft to a sturdy 1-1/8 x 26spline and the first gear pair to close ratio 2.80LGR. All new gearing is SAE9310 chrome-nickel-moly, cnc hobbed, cnc gear ground part, then shot peened. There is nothing comparable to our build on the market. We mainly sell these to the muscle car market (GM-Ford-Mopar), as we make new cases for the T45 so it can bolt up to different apps.
We are buying T45 cores and take outs. If you know of folks with these, please send them our way.
