I'm pretty sure its a simple, if not direct, swap. You might need to use a 10.5" clutch instead of an 11" clutch though. I'm sure someone on here knows, if not the OP.

Yes. Typically T45's have a 10.5" clutch but that is because the flywheel on the same cars is 10.5". If you have a T3650 your flywheel is 11" and you will still just use an 11" clutch. Either clutch fits inside the housing of a T45.

Forum member pricing is as follows:
T45R-400 (1-1/16x10spline) 400lbft torque is $1299
T45R-500 (1-1/8x26spline) 500lbft torque is $1599
T45R-600 (1-1/8x26spline) close ratio 600lbft torque is $1999
** core required, shipping not included, 12month warranty **

See my previous post for the content of the rebuild, as this is not your typical rebuild/reman.

3650s can be replaced with these units, but you will need to send us a core to build.

I think i may take a crack at rebuilding my own transmission... i feel like its the leap into deeper mechanics that not a lot of people are willing to do.

Isnt the TKO 500 made by this Co. too( Keisler ) ?
I know they are common trannys for the C4 Corvettes replacing that crappy Dougnash 4+3 garbage.

Boy that Dougnash tranny was crap, but fun to drive.

I dont think theyre to hard to rebuild with correct tools for the job.
Gears-gears and more gears to deal with.
I think the hardest part would be getting everything to spec.

Now a Auto tranny is a whole new animal I wouldnt touch.
