update
Starting on the pasenger side putting my coilover setup on yesterday and finally got one side done early this morning( lots of very tight bolts with no acess to a air compressor= lots of curse words.) Went to back it out of the driveway to make sure there was no rattles and as soon as came off the concrete slab I heard a loud clunk. Took everything back off and double checked everything, put it back together and same thing noise. turns out I have a lot of play in my ball joint.
So instead of buying new balljoints and having to fool with pressing them in I guess I will just upgrade to MM tubular control arms. Was going to upgrade to them anyway down the road but wasn't planning to spend the money right now. So now I will have to wait till next weekend to finish, its a good thing this is not my DD.
Note to self. Have a good air compressor with a good impact wrench when working on suspension parts on a 15 year old car.
