Default Parts needed for 4.10 installation

Ordered a set a 4.10 gears yesterday and want to know what else I need in order to keep the speedometer reading correct. I know 96-98 mustangs can't use a tuner to fix the speedometer so I also ordered a speecal. Is that everything I need or do I also need to get a new speedometer gear? I heard a speedcal is all I need and now I am getting word I also need the new speedometer gear. Any help would be appreciated.
