It also has all wheel steering at 40mph ( around there) if you turn the wheel , he front tires turn all the way and the rear tires will move 1.5 inches in teh same direction. It also has a acitve exhaust meaning you press a switch inside the car and you can change the perfomance of the exhaust. The VR4 I believe is worth alot more money stock. Yea it's a pig but for a car built in 1992 to run with a Sti of 2004, is pretty damn impressive to me. The best feature of the car is the twin Turbo set up . I mean they spool so fast and hold spool so good. Alot of people hate these cars due to maintence. Every 60k miles there's a big tune that has to be done and has to be done right! The tune up usually cost around $2,000 when all is said done. I though, I did the first tune by myslef from watching a video on it and it runs perfect. They always have stupid problems...always! The Mustang was my 91 Gt fullly built 302, would run in the 12's high 11's with a nice set of tires and good fuel. I sold it when I had my first and only child . Mustangs are really nice ect...don't get me wrong, I love them . No Mustang that I have ever been in Cobra, Lx, Gt none of them have the quality of the VR4. The VR4 is so tight, no noises, no rattles. You can just tell that it was built with care. From a dig the VR4 will will take a STOCK 03-04 Cobra, not easily by any means but it can be done. I will be looking for a 03-04 Sonic Blue Cobra in a month or two. The wife gave it the green light
The 92 VR-4 had 300hp crank a, 0-60 of 5.6, 13.6 to 14's in 1/4, weight of 3800lbs, the STOCK 03-04 COBRA has an 390hp (some say thats underrated and is actually closer to 430), runs 0-60 in 4.5, 1/4 in the 12's., weight 3780.

The two cars are similar in weight.....but if a stock VR-4 was going to beat a cobra in any kind of a race....the cobra driver would have to lose all traction or miss a gear. That being said, I've always thought VR-4's were a cool car. I'm just speaking the truth here. I've owned a 94 which is the year they upgraded to 320hp and also....that thing was a rattle trap. So as far as being built with care....it really depends on how well the car is taken care of. Mustang cobras are built with A LOT of care, considering the engines are assembled by hand.

Everyone...just F'in BLOCK him. It's amazing. My life has improved so much since I did.

HA

Oh yea...back on topic. The VR4 was the sickest car on GT2!!

All of the TT cars of that era were stupid and underpowered. Not saying that it's not a badass car...but it's far from badass factory. Take one turbo out and it'll improve tremendously.

And the rear seats are weird. Like...holes. haha. Cool car bud!

All a stock VR4 needs is to upgrade the stock turbo's and do some
exhaust work and they will beat a stock 03-04 Cobra in the 1/4 mile.
I think the VR4's are amazing vehicles!

Then it wouldn't be a stock for stock comparison would it. With that logic, a a cobra could upgrade its blower and exhaust and a VR-4 would still lose. VR-4's have VERRRRY fragile internals. They don't last too long with upgrades, but once again....it was a STOCK vs STOCK comparison.

rule 1. block Bladerunner
rule 2. please dont say VR-4s have weak internals. the only truly weak thing is the rear diff at around 600 hp.

I heard they have head or timing chain issues was the biggest problem.
They're pretty sweet cars for sure but not into japan made cars or any foriegn car at that except for the Italian made cars.

each their own I guess

What the hell does this mean? I don't know who "Bladrunner" is but I most certainly have a 1992 Mitsubishi 3000Gt Vr4 Black on tan I had the 91 Gt seen here but sold it. I now have the 96 Gt. I've had a total of 2 96 Gt's, one 95 Gt, 88 gt, 90 GT and the 91Gt. I can take a T5 apart blind folded lol. No offense taken at all but this guy isn't me. Request a pic with a random object i.e. a pencil, fork, spoon anything like that. I will take the photo holding the object and we can move on from this topic.

i think that is what they are saying. Bladerunner is a tool who has caused good members to leave. how about a pic of the 3000GT with a sign that says "bladerunner's wet dream"
