Default Help me decide!!!!.....opinions needed!!!!

As of right now my car has 124,000 miles on the engine. Here are my mods, BBK CAI, BBK 78mm TB Plenum combo, Diablo 93 octane tune, Bassani O/R/X pipe, 40s Flowmasters with turndowns, 373 gears with a 1,75 drop.
I want to add more power and i was thinking of going with a set of cams due to the milage on the engine. I think nitrous or a blower would be to much for it at this time, what do yall think and allso i was thinking about going with a set of hitech stage 2 cams.

How has the engine been maintained? I'd do a compression check and if all is good to go, then it should be perfect. These motors take an *** raping and keep coming back for more. Pick your poison....cam/nitrous, supercharger or turbo. Either of the three will make your car a completely different car. Check out MHS for the cams. Some say MHS, some say CMS.....

It really depends on your personal preference. I might shy away from a heavy shot of Nitrous, but a centri blower would still be a good choice if you're engine has been maintained and checks out. It really depends on what kind of power you're looking for. If you're looking for good sound and a possible 30 extra hp then I say cams.

Honestly if everything has been well maintained and the motor checks out, i think you would be fine with a smaller shot of nitrous or boost.

Just so you know Hitech recently retarded their ICL to 112 from their original 110. While this will give you a bit more ptv clearance (they still are close to the piston though) it will not have quite the same power as the older spec. Just something i thought you'd like to know.

That's true due to the lower lift. You also probably don't want to rev much beyound 6300-6500 with the stock springs on a continual basis.

I don't want to badmouth them (they were very polite and friendly to me on the phone) but when they told me i'd have .100" clearance with their cams, i knew they were full of ****.
