Default Grease&oil is on paint :0

I'm trying to avoid a 1200 dollar paint job for my vert. It has smudges or grease/oil on the front bumper and dimples on the hood that aren't noticie to the glancing eye but it Buggs me. My main concern is those smudges! I scrubbed and scrubbed and nothing gives. It's like if the sun baked the stains on the paint.

Is there anyway I can remove the smudges (I.e. Some products)? It would save me a complete paint job. I would then only have to cover up the paint that's peeling on the window frame (top).

Do you have a PC buffer or anything? Or are you trying by hand? Check the detailing section as they really know a lot. Also, by hand, chances are you won't beat those, but a buffer might give you a chance.

No I haven't. I know nothing about paint related stuff. I'll try the buffer and clay bar. Hopefully they get the grease off then I will only need to spot paint the small areas. Even more so now that I found something that caught my eye, carbon fiber cobra R hood & trunk lid.

in case you don't know why you clay bar first I'll explain. The clay will pick the contaminents that are in your paint. If you buff without the clay what you are doing is rubbing all the crap into your paint kinda like a fine grain sand paper. My opinion you should clay bar your atleast once a year

Turtle wax has a bug and tar remover too.

+1 to clay bar. It makes the car look so much newer.
