Well, one shop emailed me back! And so far it seems good. I'll keep the name private until there is things set in stone. They are willing to help with at least part of the project as of now.
Thank you all for the wonderful responses. I'm sure he is going to enjoy reading through this thread when everything is done.
To the person who asked if the previous owner new of the faults on the car. Unfortunately he had the car for about a month before the donation went through. It was a hectic time for all of us, and he didn't run it much. At first everything seemed great, and then he started having the problems.
He's done what he can do, funds and time allowing. So it's not like he just doesn't care about the car. The family of the recipient has helped him when they could. Last year for his birthday they bought him his rims and tires. And his GF, god bless her, got him the tuner a few weeks ago.

Attached are a few pictures of my brother, the day of the surgery and his car.
He and the recipient just 30minutes before surgery. He had just received his anethesia cocktail.
Him 2 days after surgery, in pain and scruffy!
A week and a half after surgery, everyone told him he was crazy for getting in that water. If you look in the bottom right corner you can see some of the scars from the laparascopic incisions.
The rough around the edges GT when he go the rims.
And him and I a couple of weeks ago, he seems to be doing better!

I wrote to American Muscle late last night, I'm not really expecting a response until Monday.
I also filled out the application for Mypowerblock Makeover, and the application for the Monster/West Coast Customs sweepstakes.
It's a long shot, I'm sure there is people with bigger and better stories, but I truly feel my brother deserves this.
OH! And I emailed the admins on this site, to see if they had some insight as to where I should go, and who to talk to.
