trunklid holes, to fill or not

Do it the right way. That looks so stupid when you see someones car whos to cheap to fill the holes, and uses a plug. Come on... stop half assing your cars people.

The previous owner of my car had the wing off i believe and then put it back on when they traded it into the dealership. The paint is already chipped in one spot and wrinkled in another. Also their was black rtv all over the studs and the bottom of the wing where it meets the trunklid.

I just came from the junkyard and saw a 2003 V6 mustang with a perfect decklid. I think if you look at junkyards, you could just buy the decklid, have it painted to your car and then swap it out. That way if you change your mind or want to sell it, you still have original.

Im going to a body shop today to get it quoted. I can see buying the decklid, then getting its completely painted CORRECTLY costing a pretty penny.

i for some reason believe my trunk lid is metal, i think this because when i had my stock spoiler off to put my steeda one on the paint was chipped, where it was chipped later began to rust...im going to do the magnet test when i get home because now im curious
