That's what I think hoss. But I understand cobra guys wanting to get something out of the trade. They are not going to take a stock 28 spline sra even up for an IRS. If you have 31 splines then they would probably do even up. I mean personally I wouldn't give anymore than $200-300 cash over the sra. I mean it's not like it's made of gold.

So, question.....does anybody/Ford sell a new IRS that will fit the GT, or Cobra letalone? Are these IRSs pretty much one off, find a swap or your Effed?

Ford sells new IRS's. lol they are like $2200 or something like that. But they sell them. Tousley Ford also sells all the parts to make the IRS from scratch pretty much as well.

Yea, buying one and then finding a home for the SRA later is a good idea. It keeps down time to a minimum while allowing you to build the IRS while its out of the car.

I paid 450 for IRS with 3.73's, h&r ss springs, and borla stinger exhaust, well worth it. I almost felt bad for the cobra owner since my bushings were hella shot lols. Like hoss said, i feel more planted ob launches than before and more comfortable than ever. I did look for well over a year for an awesome deal.
