I'm looking to incorporate a new head unit into my mach sound system. I'm curious what you guys that have done this are using in your cars. My main thing i need is an aux port so i can hook my ipod in, tired of that fuzzy bull**** fm transmitter. I have looked into a few options like splicing in a aux but i haven't found any that don't have me iffy yet. What are you guys using?

Pioneer make some pretty sweet units. I think the p3200 is the main one guys are putting into their cars. Look into that once.

Thanks Teej, been having trouble finding compatible units, i swear like over half the websites in this f'n country are blocked lol. Just looked at it and that's a good possibility for me. Anyone else have some input?

Thanks crash!! that is exactly what i needed to see. What all did you need for the install just the head unit itself or did you need any other minor parts?

I got the headunit off of amazon, and a wiring harness. I'd just go to a local stereo shop and have them install it honestly. The head unit fits perfectly and works wonderfully. There is a 4200 out now which is more current.

alright thanks , amazon is actually where i am looking right now lol. for now i am leaning towards either of these since i haven't gotten any other feedback yet. I will be ordering my headunit within the next week and it will be put in when i go home on leave.

i have the 3200 also and really like it, the 4200 is the same but full screen instead of buttons on the left

Sup Josh. That's what i had just noticed while looking at them, I'm leaning towards the 3200 because i really could give 2 ****s less if its full touch screen or not lol.

the only downside is you plug the ipod into the front of the 3200 so you see the cable going to it instead of hiding it in the glovebox
