Default 50 bucks for a Cobra center cap?

My dads 03 GT lost one of its Cobra center caps the other day, Ive been hunting a new one but holy crap, am I seeing it right that the accepted going rate is about 50 bucks for a single 2" plastic cap?

This is a wheel with the cap still on it..

Did you try AM or Ebay?
On ebay might be able to find all 4 as a set for a cheap price.

Ive tried all the major Mustang part companies, they all must get them from the same company, all about the same price.

Im about to jump on eBay and take a look, I hate that site though.

Call OE Wheels.... Sarasota FL.

I bought my 03cobra replicas from them like 4-5 years ago.. the only center caps they had were those...

I like the GT ones (with the new edge GT) but refuse to pay the cash for them lol.. Stupid pricing on that ****

Ill call OE tomorrow and see what they have.

Looks like AFS has their site semi up now, I see 2 caps on their site, about 15 bucks each, I can live with that, still spendy for a plastic cap.

Yes it's $50 for an original style Cobra centercap, however you can find Cobra centercaps for much less. I think I got my entire set for like $25 bucks a while back but I forgot exactly where I purchsed it. I just googled Cobra centercaps and found a place that sold them cheap and they looked great.

ebay would be your best bet

Ridiculous. That's a good chunk of change towards an ENTIRE WHEEL from AM.
