Default When you think of MUSTANG...what do you think of?

Yeah you're right, what I'd like to know is....

When you hear Mustang, what do you think of? This does not pertain towards 2v's only, this is about every single one of them. 60s/70s/80s/90s/present.

For example....Loud, raw, fast, comfortable, burnouts, handling, etc etc etc.....

In addition, who's car on here do you think is the closest match to your "stereotypical Mustang"?

I'm sure I'll get flamed so my response will follow....

I will represent you in court free of charge should you ever do so, what a turd that guy. XD

But when I thought mustang before I had one, I thought "meh, american, loud, TORQUE, and "Hot Wheels" for some reason...
BUT after I got one, "Mine, ford badassery, rumble pit(?), awesome burnouts (even though I can't do one), and rice eater"

My little 8 yr old sister thinks "pretty, yellow, and angry looking car" for some reason haha.

Pony car, Reasonably priced, reliable, huge aftermarket, staying true to the roots small car not such a huge engine and can run with cars that have larger engines.

I think of the hot blonde at my office that drives a red 65-ish Mustang. Gotta find a way to meet her...

It used to be that I thought 'the car that every teenager has'. But now, I am on my 4th Mustang, so I just think of them as 'normal' I guess.

I think of the sound. There is no other sound on earth like a Mustang. It is the only unique sound anymore. Every other car remotely close to a Mustang(IE camaros, corvettes, challengers, etc) sound either like trucks. Mustangs have a truly unique sound that no other car has.

Other than that, I think of the pony car that started it all. You go back to 1965, Carroll Shelby took the 289 hi-po mustang and made it into a race car, taking the suspension and power a bit further and making it a true racer. Whether its a quarter mile beast, or twisty carving SOB, the Mustang owns all. I dont care what youre driving, you see a Mustang, its an icon of racing. This is why the Mustang is such a bench mark. The Mustang started it all. If not for the Mustang, the sports car/muscle car industry would not be where it is today.

Honda, Chevy, Dodge, and the rest of them can suck it. Ford got it right from the get-go. The rest of them are just trying to play catch-up.
