Might be getting a ZEX wet kit, have a few ques

I just took my new ZEX kit to the track for the first time tonight. I have a Bullitt so the plate kits won't work on my intake configuration. I am running a 100 shot and making 380rwhp/445torque (around 280rwhp on motor). I installed TR6 pugs gapped at .035. Added a window switch and bottle heater to round out my set-up. DYNO TUNE is the way to run nitrous safely. VERY risky to run nitrous without a tune or real time A/F monitoring device.
Had a lot of trouble getting my 60' right tonight (I put my 3.73 gears back in to replace my 4.10s since I figured I would pick up ~8mph and be turning too many rpm in 4th gear with 4.10s). The car is bogging on launch with the 3.73s. I REFUSE to abuse my DD clutch with much slipping on takeoff. I ran 12.185 @ 117.96mph with a 1.941 60'. It should run 11.7s if I can get my 60' back into the 1.7s.
I LIKE MY ZEX KIT!!!

I did run two baseline passes with the 3.73s to see how they impacted my accelleration. As I mentioned bove, the 60' were terrible (1.98 & 1.93), so they alone added ~ .3-.4 to my ET, but I ran 13.01 twice on motor.
Then I ran a ~55shot and made two passes (12.43 both times @ 114mph).
Put in the 100shot for the last two passes (12.185 was the best). I had my window switch set to turn on the spray at 4000rpm (I was worried about spinning tires in 1st if it came in too soon). I forgot my instructions for the window switch, so I couldn't tweak it at the track. It also seemed to fall flat about mid way thru 4th gear. I am wondering if it was running out of fuel (maybe). I plan to upgrade the fuel pump anyway, so I may just try that change and run it again as it is to see.
I was encouraged by 94mph in the 1/8 and 118mph in the 1/4 without everything being optimized. I feel like it will run 11.7s once sorted out.
The 3.73 gears are MUCH more friendly for daily driving! My gas mileage has increased a noticeable amount with the 3.73s vs the 4.10s. I need to run several tanks to get a good average, but the first tank was around 8-10% better fuel mileage. Only down side is that the cams don't like to lug down quite s low in the rpms as it did stock, so I can't get it into 5th until around 40-42mph.

Why even make that comment if you have nothing to say???
Seems like that defeats the purpose of the forum doesn't it???
The car did have a custom tune made for this jetting and it maintained a perfectly steady A/F all the way thru the 3 pulls we made with it. I tried to make certain that we had a good safe configuration in it. I will check to see how much nitrous is left in the bottle now. I only made 4 nitrous passes on this full bottle and two of them were only 55 shots, so I don't expect the bottle to be low on nitrous (ie. started running out of nitrous at the end of the pass).

Plate kits are nice, but NOT required! I probably would have gone that route if they had an application for my intake configuration. Plate is more trouble to install, but better fuel atomization than most nozzles.

For basic nitrous wet kit (75-125shot)....... window switch, micro switch, bottle heater, programer (to take out a few degrees of timing) and maybe a purge kit.....
When u start adding cams, our bumb it up a to 150 shot, u need a custom tune... and a bigger fuel pump.
anything bigger than that..... u should a have a direct port nitrous system, with a stand alone fuel system. O.... and a motor that is built for it it....

The worst thing i have seen anybody do to their car running a 125shot is pop the plastic intake, bc they set there window switch at to high of an rpm. the cam that they were running was out of its power band range, so the motor lost sufficient air flow.
