if he could get me them for 150 for each side, + shipping, that'd be great. unfortunately i'm out of the country right now, so i cant make calls without spending a fortune and i couldnt find an email on their website.

paint/primer doesnt matter, as i'll be painting my car as a whole. cant decide whether to stay black, or go with red or silver metallic...

just bought a set for 380 shipped. guy on SVTP wanted 430. total saved by going on ebay = 50$.
they're red, but i'll be painting them anyways. maybe i'll consider making a mold of them to possibly in the future make some fiberglass replica's looking at their basic shape it shouldnt be too hard.

opinions on kevlar reinforcement? or should i just go with fiberglass to keep the costs down? i wont be doing any sort of fancy stuff like vacuum bagging, as weight should be a non-issue... pre-primered? gelcoat?

i suppose i should start by first actually making the molds and a prototype huh? lol

i'm so excited, i think this is one of the most anticipated mods i've ever wanted. i mean the turbo kit and built motor yea but this is like icing on the cake. its like the ultra sexy of new edge mustangs.

If you make the molds, hit me up! I would love to test fit a pair and maybe buy em! Only problem i see with fiberglass is they will crack from all the rocks... Sideskirts take some serious abuse...

I would go with polyurethane if you could...

only problem is i have no experience with polyurethane only fiberglass and CF. i could throw on an outter layer of kevlar though. i used to make blades for my RC helicopter. this is a much bigger project, but its all the same really, just time consuming. once i get a mold done though it'll be easy. i can even make a couple molds to speed up the process. probably wont be able to get much done until i get back from the sand though.
