Hp limit on a 2.6 KB
Built 99-04 gt.
How much hp can a kb2.6 make? Kb site days 5-950. Im guessing 950 is on a 4v.
Friend has an 11 gt500 and I would like to be as fast or faster than him on blower. Currently on way to get his tuned looking for ~ 700-800Whp. Is that possible with my 2.6? I know he needs 80 more Whp than me to stay even( my car is lighter)
Will still have the 175 kit installed but don't want to have to use it against friend... save that for some busa' s

Fore tripple return system. E 85 ready. Car still has motor out. Waiting on engine way to be painted. Just wanna know about the blowers power.
Been running on 530 Whp for 6 months fuel was running out at 5 k...

Yea I've seen alot of them in that range... im hoping I can get it to 750 Whp on blower... don't want to spend the 2 k on trickflow heads. Looking for a house in the next year. Any extra money helps.

You won't be able to make the power you need to take your friend's gt500. You need ported heads and custom blower cams. Youll need 20+psi with ported heads and cams if you want to make 700+rwhp. Stock heads I've seen go almost 600rwhp, but that was in jivepepper's car with custom blower cams running like 20psi of boost.
Also, the blower is rated for any motor that you could place that blower on. I highly doubt blower only you could get a cobra to 950 with a 2.6. I'd talk to tim from mph, now at mr norms garage, about a 2.8 kit for the 2v like tim99gt(I think is his sn) is gonna be running. He is gonna run that with tfs heads and mph kenne bell cams.

Yea, im looking forward to what TIm gets with his car and the 2.8/Trickflow setup
