Default fog lights stopped working

so i was driving in the heavy downpour last night looking for an overhang for my bro's car, my moms van (dad driving) and my car for a hail warning to be safe, and this morning i noticed my fog lights have stopped working. the lights were pretty fogged up with water spots on the inside in the sun at work this morning, so could the water have shorted them out?

That would have to be my guess as well. If both are out, then probably fuse. If just one in out, than probably a bulb.

first i just want to say thank you for the quick responses

so yeah, both were broken inside the housings. i'm guessing it was the water because a puddle of it came out my passenger side fog and a couple drops came out of the drivers.

i don't think it was a fuse, unless the fuse blowing caused the bulbs to crack? the little light on the actual button still works. i just removed the housings and washed them out to get the glass and silver stuff out and now are sitting in my basement drying. i twist tied plastic bags around the wiring for the bulbs. so i'm going to wait until they dry and get new bulbs and hope for the best

purp no i haven't. it's still acting up like some shiz. i'm getting bombarded with large payment **** like my taxes, and i gotta renew my registration. haven't had the chance to start saving some good cash for it. the install is gonna be the kicker
