I painted mine with high temp engine enamel. First I sanded the **** out of them, put a couple coats of primer, letting it sit 15 mins between coats. Then I put a couple coats of the enamel on, 15 mins between coats. Finally like 4 coats of clear, letting the final coat dry overnight. Turned out great

You're way ahead of the game if you are getting them sandblasted...

Maybe give them a fine sand if they need em

Powdercoating is your best bet if you want the best. Otherwise grab a couple cans of paint and spray three solid coats on there. Finish with a lot of clearcoat -- five coats.

This is how we did it on my friends wheels minus the sandblast and they came out GREAT

I obviously vote powdercoating if you can swing it

im really not trying to **** on painted wheels, but powdercoating is def the way to go. $60/rim and they get stripped to bare metal and when they get sprayed they're like 600 degrees and then baked again. you can get some sick colors even metallic. looks amazing

dont worry guy, im getting heated by any of the opinions. im just not sure on color choise, reason im thinking about painting first. if i decide to keep the wheels, i'll powdercoat them. btw, they are american racing rebels, 18x9/10. picked them up cheap. but color suggestions will be greatly appreciatated
