i have heard of a lot of ppl run the 15' v6 mustang wheels. but to answer your question, if you are running the factory size rear brakes, 15s will fit. on the front, if you run 15s then you will have to run spacers. on the back spacing on the rear wheels, it will be 4.5 to 5.5 on 8 inch wide wheels and 5.5 to 6.5 on 10 wide wheels.

so a 15x4 in the front would require a spacer? i guess i would need extended studs as well.

if im not mistaken, its either a 1' or 1.5' spacer. if you go this route, use a hub centric spacer. a spacer this big doesnt require longer wheel studs btw. you will bolt the spacer to the hub and the spacer will have its own studs to mount your wheel to

Alright. I found a pair of 15x8 weld prostars for 200$ with 4.5 backspacing. will this backspacing work fine for our cars?

4.5" BS is correct. You'll be fine running 15" wheels with the stock brakes, both front and rear. Also, no need for spacers.

I don't know about the Cobra or Mach 1 brakes. I just know he'll be fine with stock brakes.

03 cobra/mach/bullitt brakes need spacers up front for brake clearance and the rear you need to grind the caliper down. On my IRS, I even have to grind down part of the lower control arm. Only slightly and its nothing structural either.

Stock GT brakes, just buy the wheels with the right offset and backspacing and you'll be fine. No spacers or modifications needed except I suggest rolling your fenders.
