Yes, the chambered mufflers with O/R X-pipe sound raspy and harsh. Straight thru mufflers are the way to go with X-pipes (my opinion).
I had my X-pipe with my factory Bullitt mufflers for two days before I welded in a pair of Flowmaster 3 chambers. They sounded terrible too, so I had high-flow cats welded in to "fix" it. Then it sounded like stock again

Added MAC ProChamber, and it was awesome!!!
