Not to **** on your cornflakes there guy, but tr55s are stock heat range, and tr6s are cooler. I wasnt pushing 16lbs of boost thru stock plugs gapped .028.

Anyway, this car is safe to run 93 octane, tr6s gapped, and factory tune on a 100 shot

Now are the TR-55's gapped at .30 like the TR-6's as whitefox suggested or are they gapped different?

Ttr55s are not recommended. They are stock heat range, and before long you will have pin holes in ur pistons like im sure everett has and just doesn't know about.

You want tr6s gapped around .030.

Back timing 2 degrees per 25hp? Not sure if you're being serious, but on a 100shot I am retarded 3 degrees so be safe. Retarding 2 degrees on 100 shot is not unheard of.

You can listen to who you want, but im pretty sure im the biggest nitrous head in this thread.. ask around.

2 degrees per 25hp is too much retard. 2 degrees per ~60hp is about right. 3 degrees for 100hp is probably good for most cars(it really depends upon what your normal timing curve is set to). 3 degrees is more retard than you need with the factory tune (1-2 is plenty).

Im probably going to run about a 75 shot at first to see how my car reacts to it. I would run more but I have a high mileage motor and don't feel comfortable doing that. My luck is so bad, my engine would probably blow. So after I install my system and order my new tunes, I should make sure Bama retards my timing about 2-3 degrees? I'm sure they already know what to do but I just want to be safe.

If your ordering an SCT, you must state you plan on running nitrous and tell them how much (hp shot).

You can run up to 100 shot on STOCK tune on 93 octane an plugs, but once you start getting handhelds that jack up timing and whatnot for NA power, mixing nitrous with that is when things can go bad.

I have had a handheld for just over a month now and have another email to complete in order to get my new tunes when I get my nitrous. I have to choose between 75 or 100 shot but cant make up my mind on what I want to do. I know Bama knows what they're doing when it comes to making tunes for nitrous and N/A but I just dont want anything to go wrong when it finally kicks in at the track.

Have them write the tune for the 75 shot and then if you want to run a bigger shot, just modify their tune by taking out a couple more degrees of timing before you load it. Would be a good idea to do this first on a dyno so you know how the a/f looks before and after your adjustments.

I'd have the tune written for 100 shot. That tune would be safe to run the 75 shot on and I'll guarantee once you run the 75 shot, you'll soon change the jetting to 100 shot. This way you don't have to mess with the tune you are sent. It will be good to go right out of the "box."
