Yeah it will make everything smell like ***. I've used them the past few winters and haven't had any trouble with mice. I also put a dryer sheet or two in the car.

Do you already have a bunch of traps set up?

Haven't done any traps, but might try traps inside and mothballs outside.

Dude! Be happy you didn't find more than just mice droppings!! I had mice in my car a while back and they completely ate thru my wiring hardness amongst other things. Serious little #$@!ers. Never want to go through it again. I stumbled across the mouse blocker one day and figured what the hell. Gave it a try and havn't had any issues with mice since I installed it.

Check it out at MouseBlocker.com

They could possibly be coming through your firewall under the brake booster do you have a rubber grommett under there? You have to be careful of health hazards too breathing in what they leave behind. It happened in my x wifes truck when we left it in storage for a year i tried cleaning and spraying the carpet with bleach/water and when I sprayed the carpet large areas of it sizzled from the bleach hitting the **** they left all over the carpet and it stunk. Cleaned it up and traded it 6 days later.

I haven't had any problems since i did moth *****. They weren't in there long enough to do any major damage. It all cleaned up fine.

I would check surrounding grommets. That would be my best guess of how they are actually getting in your car.

Try and put dryer sheets in there too, I have always been told that the smell of the dryer sheet keeps mice and squirrels out
