If you're going to go f/i, go 3.73. If you're going to stay n/a, go for the 4.10s or 4.30s depending on whose advice on this forum you're willing to take.

Having done what i did and now knowing what i know now, wish i had a redo button. Woulda skipped all the bolt-ons and waited. Then afterwards came back for bolt-ons. a) because it offers little hp for what you paid b) since being on here i've seen soooo many used bolt-on parts for a fraction of the price including exhaust & handheld tuners.

You got a golden egg here since you can afford the best thing from the get go.... SUPERCHARGER!!!!

PS: pics of ride!

Also who told you that you have too much compression for a blower? That's simply not true.

Hey if you know the dude, and he's legit, then more power to you...thats great! As far as the compression goes, there are 100's of PI swapped Mustangs running around with blowers. Unless you have even higher compression via some different pistons or whatnot, then it's not going to be a problem. If you don't believe me ask around.

all i got to say op....do whatever you want. But dont come crying to us when your like hey...my bolt ons are useless...wtf...? we all did it...which is why we all say dont waste the time doing it first if you have the money to skip the step. i spent 1500 on bolt ons...you know what i put down on my trip to the mustang dyno? 220hp....the only thing, and i mean only thing i would consider doing first....would be exhaust. and it has nothing to do with performance, its all about letting people know where you are and driving a muscle car. but if i could do it all over, i would def not waste my money on stuff i didnt need. At least if you sc first, all the bolt ons you add later will make a big difference.
Oh and one last thing, gears are great for around town fun, you know street stuff. But if your goal is to go fast, take it from one of the faster bolt on gts here...dont gear your car to go fast with bolt ons...it wont happen. i ran a 13.39 with street tires and blew my rear, put 3.90s in it and havnt been able to get better than 13.5 with sticky tires (toyo TQ drag radials), because believe it or not, that extra shift not only adds time, but also prevents you from doing what all pro drag racers do and thats finish the quarter in the top of a gear. which you will do when you trap 105 or less with stock gears (thats over 6k tho...)

Im sure ill gets lots of people who disagree with me, but i was happier at the strip with my 3.27s and my t-45. the blower will fix all that in a few weeks tho...theres my 2 cents.
