Mustang using to much gas?

Last year when I was DDing my mustang, I could make it over 300 miles on a tank of gas. I have 4.10s too.

I've made 4 seperate 260 mile trips at 70 mph.

With my 4.10s it runs around 2600/2700 rpm the entire way.

I average 22mpg at those speeds.

it was awsome. But really do you drive alot on the city?

I drive around 65% city/35% highway. All highway i get around 240 to a tank.

I have a 2001 GT mostly stock other than bolt ons and 4.10 gears and on the highway i average 22-24mpg of course i have a stick shift but if you have an automatic you wont see as good of gas mileage. i just recently drove to florida and i spent around $200 driving down and same back. But when i drive in the city forget it 15mpg maybe best!
