Default Why is one side of my car lower than the other?

The back right side is 1 inch higher than the back left side.. 1 inch more wheel gap, 1 inch farther off the ground.. wtf?

mabe because i rarely have a passenger?

caused by hard launches?

I dont have a convertible, and i only weigh like 150..

would new springs fix this?

Subscribed. Mine is doing the same thing. My entire drivers side sits about 1/2" lower than my passenger side so I would like to know what ideas everybody has. I installed lowering springs last month but it was leaning before that so new springs didn't fix mine.

@huey did you also install new shocks?

My first guess would be that your shocks are going out on one side before the other

Yep, sure did. Put on new Koni STR.T shocks and struts the same time I put the new springs on.

bushings mabe? the front of my car seems to have both sides the same height (not uneven), or atleast not nearly as much of a difference. Seems odd.

I have seen some drag cars launch really hard on slicks and like twist their bodies from sheer power, but ive never even launched on a track personally (mabe the previous owner did, but i doubt it) and my car is basically stock.

Very common for the bottom of front coil springs to rot out and crack, I've seen it over 5 times in the last 2 years. The stock A-Arm has two small holes in the cup, one of these holes should be exposed. The purpose is to drain any water out that manages to get in the a-arm cup. What happens is when people reinstall lowering springs or what not improperly they cover both holes with the spring or the isolater which doesn't allow the water to drain and eventually cause the bottom of the spring to rot out and crack, also if the hole gets plug up with dirt or debris the same thing can happen. Check out the springs and also check your shocks/struts.
