2010 Ford Fusion Sport

I don't have any personal experience with the fusions but they look like nice cars and my dad is looking at them for their next car.

If its sports sedans you are looking for; you won't find many in the lower/mid price ranges (newer models) really. It is usually the luxury brands that make the sport 4 doors. That said, the new mazda 6 is a fun piece of machine (even if its quiet), and maybe if you can find an older used audi with the turbo (quattros I believe come with them?). Lots of fun, and VERY practical. The mazda is good on gas, and the audi guzzles it like nom nom nom.
Or how about the impala's? I think they come with the v8 option, and probably a ton of fun there. Maybe an impreza WRX?
I don't know if you have brand loyalty (if so, sorry for the bad suggestions lol) but there are some good euro lux brands out there for good prices used... But STAY AWAY from the really old ones, they are nothing but trouble once they get up there in mileage lol. I'm guessing you already know about it though.

My future wife will be told loud and clear that I'd rather stab myself in the ********* with a cattle prod than give up my toys. Zero Negotiation.
On the other hand, the Fusion is a nice little car. A friend of a friend of mine, has one of the all wheel drive ones and threw a 100 shot on it. That little F'er moves.

Well I test drove an AWD one last night. Rode quite nice, liked the back up camera as a cool feature. Back seat had plenty of room when I was set up to drive it and I'm about 6'1" long legs. The gauges seemed sool at first with the blue fading out to black, but realized it was printed that way. I thought it was a true light fading away. Seats (coming from the Mach) were left to be desired. Didn't "hold" me as well. Sound system seemed pretty legit for a stock car and was kinda impressed.
The "get-up" obviously wasn't there. I think that's the biggest downside to it. The sound of the car, which for a V6 sounded cool, but never get that V8 I know and love. Someone on a mustang forum I'm on mentioned they could run with a 99-04 GT in the 1/4 pulling in 14.XX times. I don't know for sure, but if that's true then they seem more appealing. Maybe it was the noise that my 04 GT made that made it seem faster :P
Edit: Upon further investigation...1/4 mile times seem to be more around the 15.1s mark
