Getting a little nervous about tonight
Well, tonight I am taking my car to the track for the first time since installing my nitrous. I have been looking forward to tonight since test and tune got cancelled last week due to the weather that rolled through NC. But now I am getting a little nervous because all I can think about is my car going "BOOM". I know it's only 100 shot but I have watched too many horror videos on youtube from mustangs blowing up. I have a nitrous tune on my handheld that will be uploaded to my car before running it but that still don't make me feel any better. I know I should be fine but somebody please tell me something that will help me ease my mind.

I already have a feel for the track, I have been going there for a month now (except last week) so I know what lane I spin on take off and what lane I don't. I just don't want a 3500lb paper weight sitting in my garage tomorrow. Im not running track tires, just my 245 40R 18 Sceptor tires. They came mounted when I got my saleens. They're actually pretty damn good. They spin a little but not nearly as much as the stock tires did and surprisingly they actually hook a little on take offs.

Do you have a way of not spraying in 1st? Back when i had street tires with the juice i tried spraying in first at the track (one time only lol) and it instantly spun so bad that i smacked my rev limiter within like a second lol.

Yeah, my window switch is set for the nitrous to go off at 3500RPM's.

Which track have you been running at? ...Benson or Fayetteville! (I guess I am assuming you are in Fayetteville not Jacksonville)
If it were me, I would start off with the 75 jets and turn the window switch to a slightly higher rpm so you don't have to worry about wheel spin on the first couple passes. If you have checked the A/F ratio with this jetting, you should be FINE on the juice! If not, I would run the smaller shot and run the tank down low so you can add some race fuel to increase the octane (reduce chance of detonation). Try this set up for a few passes to check for detonation and to get a feel for how and when the nitrous kicks in and if there will be wheel spin issues. No need to jump in with both feet on the first pass!
I am going to Rockingham test and tune Saturday afternoon. Come down if you get a chance!

I'm not in either one. I live in Goldsboro so I go to the track in Kinston, about 20 miles away. If I get a weekend off any time soon I just may have to go to rockingham and check it out. But I have to figure out why my nitrous isnt working right now. I went out to test it a little while ago, hit the purge, nitrous came out, hit the gas and nothing happened. Hit the purge again and it doesn't look like nitrous is coming out, just a bunch of air. There's no way that my bottles empty cause it was filled last week and i've only hit the nitrous once. So now I have to see whats up with that. At least it gives me something to do tomorrow cause as of right now they're giving me the day off.

Weigh the bottle to see if anything is left in it. Empty bottle is ~14-15lbs.
If not, you have a leak somewhere. Refill the bottle, then take a soapy water solution apply it to all of the connections. A leak will produce bubbles.
