New member from Nebraska
Hey guys, new member here from Nebraska. Just sold my Mercedes and I'm looking into getting a 99-04 New Edge. I found two different ones near my location and I'll be going tomorrow to check them out. Just wanted to get your guys opinions. What kind of reliability am I looking at in getting a Mustang? I drove my Mercedes for about two years and only had minor repairs (crank position sensor, turn signal switch) besides regular maintenance. Are these cars reliable?
Here's the links to the cars, if links to dealers aren't allowed I'll remove them.

What do you guys think? I don't mind the automatic transmission for the lower miles, newer model year, and nice color. But the blue one looks to have some aftermarket stuff done to it and its a manual. Let me know what you guys think.
Thanks.

I have owned 3 Mustangs--a '95 V6 an '05 V6 and now an '08 GT. Regarding reliability--I have had no major issues with any of them.
What's interesting here is that I'm from Omaha, and when I was looking for my '08 GT, I looked at a bunch of cars online and I actually looked at those 2 cars at Siemer.
The blue one is a nice car, but has pretty high mileage. The mods also indicate that whomever owned it probably pushed it pretty hard. Overall, the red one is a better car iwith less mileage, and newer-- but it's an automatic. Just depends on what you're looking for.
I picked my '08 GT in Council Bluffs a couple weeks ago, and so I understand that the used Mustang inventory in our area seems lacking. Check out Woodhouse in Blair too. I was looking for a newer GT, but they had some New Edge GTs too.

Ah nice, another Nebraskan. I live in Lincoln, going to make my way up to Omaha tomorrow morning and spend the day searching for a car.
So you think the blue one has been pushed hard? I see it has projector headlights, wondering what the light quality and output is on them since they're not factory. How reliable are these automatic transmissions? I suppose I could manual swap it if it ever fails.
