I was acutally wondering that myself, It says it's a V8. Even the Roush website said it was a V8, but the special white gauges appear to be from the V6 version.
I put the vin throught the Roush website and it says it was built with the 4.6L V8, build date of 10/14/2000.
I was curious as to why someone would take off the nice Roush fender badges and swap it with GT badges though.
Not all Roush cars got the square fender R....especially if it's an early 2001 build.
As for the gauges, obviously not the right overlay was installed. VIN and Roush numbers check out as real. From the pics in the add, nothing jumps out to me as a fake.
A lot of places I have seen that do emissions testing fail you if you have LT's, even if you do have cats. And obviously having no cats will fail you.
I have always passed my emissions with long tubes and high flow cats. It all depends on what type if emissions inspection is done. Some places do codes/computer only others do visual inspection and some do both. I live in a county that does codes/computer only so i pass with flying colors even with tubes, so it all depends on the inspecting station and regulations.
