I don't think I would want to split a car with my parents. And I know for a FACT that I would never daily a POS SRT4. Those things are rolling $hitboxes. There's a reason you don't see many of them around anymore.

That's about right Ron! So far on all the forums basically everyone says keep the Stang and that's what I was thinking at first. I'm only 21 so I've got a long time to get the ultimate car I want but maybe when I get in the army I can get an upgrade who knows around here there are a few vipers in the low 30's and just keep this car about where it is or could always do an engine swap and push 600 up later on I'm just getting ahead of myself I think

Tell your dad to trade in the Vette for a 03-04 COBRA. Vettes are for oldies... A yung buk like you wouldnt look right in it.. I have yet to see someone younger than 45 in a vette..

That C5 looks very nice.

I still see SRT4's on a regular basis around here....but I'm not sure I would really want a FWD car like that.

If you still like the stang, keep it, but if you are getting 'tired' of it get rid of it for something else.

We've got quite a few local young guys in vettes. Mostly C5s though. The youngest c6 Z06 owner I know is in his mid-30s.

I would trade the Cobra in on a C6 Z06 in a heartbeat.

haha if he sells the vette itd only be for a civic or something economical like that sadly

Ive tried the motorcycle route but if i did that ide be dropped from insurance really fast

SRT4's are common around here as well, fwd Honestly doesnt bother me i dont do crazy launches or get my rear end out anyways. Ide rather the rear end of my car stay where it is supposed to be .. in the rear :P

I had a friend in his 20's with a twin turbo vette .. until he ran it into a tree.
and my dad Almost got a viper but decided this would be a better DD, to bad it sits in the garage collecting dust because every time he sees a spec of dirt on it he nearly has a BF. He got a killer deal on it and isn't into fast cars he could care less about Z06 etc. as long as its fast to him and looks good.

thanks for everyones opinions.

No offense but your in a ford forum so alot of times your gonna get keep it or the SRT4 sucks. since i have driven a c5 on many occasions and owned a srt 4 I say take the vette and get a car with better gas milage as my daily driver or keep the mustang and see if I can afford a daily driver on my own just my 2 cents.
