Default SLP LM1s. Need H pipe help

I have a 98 gt and im leaning on the slp loudmouth 1s after i told myself i would get the flowmaster super 44s. The problem is everyone has flows so i decided on slp. Can anyone recommend a good o/r H pipe with the lm1s. I would greatly appreciate it!

I agree, it's going to be super loud with no tone, and really raspy just so you know.

MRT makes really good h pipes, but i think the others are fine too. JBA, MAC, BBK, etc...

I think your best bet would be to keep the stock H pipe but cut-out two of the four cats on it. That will give you a nice loud setup that is legal, cheaper, and will sound much better than if you just threw on a Mac offroad H.

i've had lm1's with an o/r h and only had on my car for a week because it was way too loud. so i installed a catted xpipe and it was perfect.

You are tougher than me, I only made it for one day before calling AM to get some different mufflers.

OP, if you are dead set on an o/r midpipe, then I suggest getting the LM2 mufflers instead.

LM1's and a catted X give you a pretty good sound actually, OR anything just sounds like garbage with that exhaust....

If you are looking for brands I would go with a MAC midpipe. I just installed an o/r x, everything lined up and as long as you have the right tools it's a pretty simple install.

I'll be the odd man out here then lol. I have a bbk offroad hpipe and lm1's and friggin love it. It's loud as **** when you're in it and quiet at idle and while cruising at 55/70. I had mac's dumped and flow's in the stock catback and they were both way louder then this combo while cruising.

here's a quick vid. while i agree it is raspy, i love the sound of it.
