Default Another night at the track. (this time not too good.)

Just got back from the track and I have to say I am not too happy right now. If you all remember my post last week, my best run was a 13.9 @ 104.7 mph using my nitrous for the first time ever. Tonight I had two runs and had problems on both of them. On the first run my car didn't want to shift from 1st to 2nd gear until I let off of the gas for a split milisecond. That resulted in a 14.1 @ 104mph. On the second run my car didn't want to hook at the start until I once again let off of the gas. Then it hooked, nitrous kicked in and I got a 14.3 @ 103mph. However I did beat a 350Z on the second run, he got a 14.5 @ 100mph. I did some weight reduction to my car the other day and was hoping for better times than last week but my car wanted to be stupid and ended up with sh$$ty times. Just wanted to vent.

I would highly advise you to invest in a STS.. With your mods you should be running mid if not low 13's..

I adjusted my shift points and few days ago and the car don't like it when I do that. Tranny was rebuilt last year.

Sorry to hear that man. Even if you get the car to hook up you're still only trapping 104 on the nitrous. Do a PI swap, and those MHS stage 2 cams. You should gain a ton of hp on the juice just by doing those 2 things.

If he isn't hooking up ( I don't think he posted short times ) But more power isnt going to help. I didn't see any suspension in his sig.
