Default Grabber Blue paint jammed. Need advice on a reversed Super Snake stripe also..

Ok you might remeber i shaved my qtr scoops along with my door handles antenna emblems etc.
Anyway heres some pics of the work in progress.

I need you guys to let me know if i should follow my original idea of a black stripe on blue. Or paint the hood roof and trunk black with a blue stripe and have a black C stripe on the side, following the style lines. Please help me out on this.
Heres some pics..

I'd go with the black stripe, the c stripe on the side kinda negates all the work you did shaving everything/cleaning everything up.. BTW I r jealous, I wanna shave the whole car soo bad=/

Just out of curiosity, how much did having everything shaved run you? I'm thinking about doing it myself, but not for awhile. Have tons of other stuff to fix up first :\

I would paint the hood black to offset the blue. Nice job thus far.

Aereon I apprecieate your advice and when you put it that way I AGREE.... It was alot of work shaving those qtr scoops. So i prolly should keep the sides clean.

And ADJ540 ive been doint paint and body for over 20 years so it hasent costed me one dime. Our local paint supplier even gave me all the paint supplys. But to answer your question i have like 140 hours in all the work so far. ( AND I HAVE SHAVED MANY HANDLES BUT NONE AS DIFFICULT AS THIS BODY STYLE) so it woulf run u atleast $2000 to 3000.00 plus the paint job.

Califis that is pimp but im set on the super snake stripe. My 20inch cobra r wheels are flat black and the vision is in my mind...

And Mustang NTriangle.... Do you mean paint the hood black with a blue stripe or just black? Because i have been considering making the srtipe a (negitave stripe)...

That car is looking awesome! Id prolly just go with the stripes down the middle black. Have everything else blue.

How hard was the fiberglass work to do on the hood? I am thinking about getting a junkyard gt hood and make a custom cowl hood for my car. None really have the look that I am after, and I am trying to save as much money as possible. Iver done some fiberglass work before. Ive made a few fiberglass bodies for r/c cars.

Actually the hood was the easiest part of the whole build.... But you will neet to invest in a Durablock assortment kit. I wanted to kontinue the same style line of the hood on to the top where i molded it. To give it the extra OE look. But i will tell you this ITS ALOT EASIER TO ROUND THE UPPER LINE THEN KEEP THE EDGE TO fyi!!!

And as far as the 20s go...... the gt had 18 cobra rs and Eibach springs.... But one of the 18s were busted... So i came up on a deal on some 20 cobra r and bolted one on. And my mind was changed. The Eibachs lover the car enough to tuck the 20s real nice.... I hope when i post the finished product you will agree.....
