I have a question...
about if i need traction-lok rebuild kit. Im not trying to make this the trillionth "which gear should I go with?" thread Rather, just wondering about the Trac lok kit. I mean, my car isn't a one wheel wonder yet but im swapping gears and im on the fence about this. My car has 63K ish on it currently.
Also, I assume that it's a wise bet to do the bearing kit? Or is the install kit good enough unless i find a bad bearing.

31 spline upgrade kit is a good idea. I mean its the same job as a gear install. I know it adds $384 to the upgrade, but it will be stronger for you and more reliable if you ever start wanting to be serious about racing, whether its in a straight line or corners.

he's planning on buying the $109 T-lok rebuild kit. I was saying it would only be $384 over what he would be paying for the rebuild kit and he wouldnt have to pay someone to rebuild it. Its close to $500 total for the new axles and diff from AM with free shipping. But still a worthy upgrade nonetheless.

There are LSD that use a set of "floating helical cut gear pinions" like the Quaife Diffs (what is used in the Focus RS)
