Default Aluminum DS Review

So I finally broke down and got an Aluminum DS to get rid of the terrible vibration at about 80 I have had sense putting in the 4.30's. I had no idea I also had a low speed Vibration until putting this thing in.
The car has no vibration now I would highly recommend getting one if you have put in gears and have a vibration. I see allot of 4.10 or up gear swap people complain.
The one thing that really pissed me off way that the DS would not fit in my car. after putting my old and new one side by side I noticed the Trans. Yoke on the new DS was a couple of millimeters longer and that is what was preventing me the ability to get it in all the way. I had to swap the Trans. Yoke from my old one onto the new DS.
I'm not sure if it bad quality or the fact that I have an IRS. But my old trans fit just fine so I'm a little stumped

Maybe you got the wrong driveshaft and this one was meant for a t3650 car? But good to hear about the upgrade! Glad you're happy with it!

It's looking like the frpp aluminum driveshaft is for 96-04 mustang gt's, so it wouldn't surprise me if it's longer to make sure it fits all year mustangs, both t45 and t3650 models. Maybe one trans is longer than the other. The t45 is like 32.77" long, if anyone knows the length of the tr3650 that may also help.

Nice upgrade. I THINK the IRS required a different length... so that could be what you ran into.
