Default little engine detail...

well my engine bay was filthy so sunday i figured i'd give it some cleanin.

this is how it looked before:

The first thing I did was put some dawn soap in a spray bottle with water, and sprayed everything down and scrubbed some spots with a tooth brush, then wiped it all off-spent about 40 mins, didn't get everything some spots i didn't feel like messing with but got majority of the crap off. Here's where it was after that:

Then i snatched some detail spray crap they use at my work and sprayed everything down, let it sit for a bit then wiped up some of the thicker areas. Here's the end result:

Total i've got about an hour into it and it looks wayyyyy better. Not the best but I didn't expect the best so i'm happy with it.

Actually I can. I would do a better job of hiding the lines coming through the fender, even putting some wire loom on them would clean them up. And also, I can see the distribution block under the fp sensor

yeah i know i gotta do something about those lines. and there is no distribution block under the fp sensor. i have one but didn't wanna run the fuel line that far. it's got a 90* fitting in the fuel rail.
