Default Flowmaster 40 Series for Super 44's?

I have a 02 GT with the Flowmaster American Thunder Cat back which came with the 40 series mufflers. I like the way they sound but want em louder. Should I swap them out for the Flowmaster Super 44 series mufflers? Do you think they are much louder than the 40's I have..?

ok kool. My next door neighbor complains about how loud my exhaust is so now I just wanna be louder when starting my car up every week day at 7am.

They can go screw themselves and there little prius.

I have plans of getting the Super 44's soon. How loud are they with stock H pipe? Or stock piping with no cats?

They are definitly louder. However, I personally wouldn't say they're obnoxiously loud. I had them with an o/r h-pipe for a while, had to ditch them because they rubbed my subframes w/ SLP catback piping. That sucked because they sounded that darn good.

Guys can we use the same catback and just replace the mufflers? I'm thinking about going with the 44's also...

I couldn't compare the sound to 40's but I've got a vid on here somewhere comparing the stock muffler's to 44's if that helps. I personally think the volume is perfect with the 44's, great tone all round and I find the drone is a small price to pay.

I have a friend who just before putting a shorty H-Pipe and BBK Longtubes, had just the American Thunder with the 40s. It sounded louder than mine. I have the American thunder with the super 44s and nothing else.
