I actually have two speeding tickets already haha.

First one was a camera ticket on the freeway. somhow i got clocked at 79 in a 65 even though I set my cruise control to under 75 and my foot was nowhere near the gas.

Second one was me being dumb and not paying attention, I thought I was going 40 and I floored it to go 50 but it turned out i was already at 50 and went up to 59 haha.

Neither tickets put points on my license tho

they used to have photo-radar in GA on 85 but took it down after people started challenging the calibration. they dont hold up in court at all. and Mustangs where i am get targeted all the time.

When I was 19 I had so many speeding tickets in my 83 Mazda RX7 5 speed that my insurance sky rocketed to $500 / mo! HA! Sold the car shortly after and bought an old truck... Moral of the story- watch your speed and you should be fine! Good luck and enjoy!

damn $150 a month at 18?! is this full coverage you're talking about?? i was payin $360 a month at that age, and had a squeaky clean record!! (and, to boot, i was listed as a secondary driver, meaning there were only 2 vehicles in a 3 person household, with a 95 windstar and 99 f150 4.6, and neither was in my name!)

Man thats crazy, when I got in my first wreck when I was almost 19, in which I was the middle car in a 3 car pile-up, no tickets were issued. I only had to pay out the guy in front of me for a broken bumper cover on a 10-year-old Honda Accord. Once again, besides this accident, I had an impecable record. My insurance bumped up from $360/mo to $450/mo!! And this, among other things, is why I thought they should have let AIG go bankrupt...Let this be a warning to all of you, NEVER USE AIG AUTO INSURANCE!!!

Whats the coverage? If it's only liability than that makes sense. I'm 21 with a clean record and pay $90 between my DD and the Cobra.
