Default Exhaust Advice

Right now my car has flowmaster exhaust. im not sure which kind because it was in the car when i got it. it is pretty loud but i want something louder. ive heard SLP loud mouths and they sound good through my computer speakers. is there anything better out there than SLP? ive seen where a lot of people didnt like them. if i go with loud mouths do i need long tube headers?

I run high flow cats on my setup now, but I used to run catless and pass gwinnetts emissions. If you go catless just get some mil eliminators for the rear o2 sensors and that will keep away those p0420 and p0430 codes. I dono if you heard my car gettin the bumper or not but I run a catted x pipe with the sss terminator catback. If you want to hear it in person just shoot my dad a call and I don't think he would mind takin you for a ride in my car so you can hear it.

I went back to high flow cats because the offroad pipe is way to loud and sounds like **** with the terminator catback. The high flow catted pipe gives it a cleaner sound and slightly reduces how loud it is, but it is still louder than most other mustangs in our area. I wonder if they brought the car to my mechanic to have my mgw shifter put it hmmm ill have to ask.

A catless setup is generally around 100-170ish, what I would do is get a used offroad pipe off craigslist for like 70 bucks and get some generic high flow cats and have them put in. If you want I can get ahold of my mechanic and ask him where he got my cats, he got them from some place in snellville. They were like 35 each.

ill look into the cats and that would be great if you could find out where he got them. do i need to get off road x or h pipes? do i need to get long tube headers? and do i need to have it re tuned with the exhaust upgrades? do i only need the two cats?

Straight through "mufflers" (loudmouths, magnapacks, SSS, stingers, etc.) are generally louder. If you already have flowmasters get an o/r h pipe. It will sound sweet and be LOUD.

how much does the o/r x cost to have installed? whats the difference between the stock h and an off road h?
