lowering springs/ stock shocks and struts
will i destroy my stock shocks and struts if i put some lowering springs (h&r super sports or ebachi pro kit) and ride it like that for a couple months before upgrading my shocks and struts.
and has anybody had many problems getting there car inspected with springs that arent the factor black color?

i doubt it. my car came with sportlines and stock shocks/struts. the previous owner bought it with those springs installed and he put 15k on the car, i put about 5k on the car and swapped the rear shocks for kyb's, still have the stock struts tho and now they've got another 10k on them. so there's atleast 25k miles on my stock struts and yet no issues.

alright dope, then im gonna pick one of those springs and order them this week. anybody got some experience with the tokico HP shocks/struts or the KYB AGX adjustable shocks/struts
btw its just a street car, im not hitting up the track anytime soon, im basically just trying to lower it and make the corners a little fun

No matter what springs you put on non gas shocks it's going to stress them beyond what they are intended for. Most of the time yu can get away with it, but eventually they will leak and blow out. It's s slow process, most people never have issues...but leave them on long enough and they will blow eventually.

To a certain degree yes, but the seals are designed to handle the stock spring pressure. Liquid cant be compressed, so when you lower it you increase the pressure on the shocks which in tern limits their life even more.
Iv seen cars with 150+K on em with no leaks out of the shocks though.
