Default full bolt on 2000 Camaro SS

Okay guys i need your opinions here. I know a guy who might decide to sell his red M-6 2000 Camaro SS. The car has 35,000 miles, has full bolt ons (with LS6 intake), custom tune, and puts down 355 rwhp & 365 rwtq. Everything else is stock from the tires and rims, clutch, trans, etc... He bought the car as it sits now for 13k, and might let it go for that. This car is absolutely cherry. I've never seen a LS1 that looked this good. The paint looks showroom perfect. He also recently bought a brand new nitrous kit that he never installed, which he may include. Also i personally know the guy, so i know exactly what i'm getting here.

The other question is what do you think i could get for my ride? It has 50k with mods in sig. It's in excellent shape all around, and has been meticulously taken care of. From what i've seen prices seem to be in the $11,000-$13,000 range.

I really love my car, but this SS is damn nice lol. From what i can tell (given the immaculate condition of the car) most seem to be around $15K with those kind of miles.

What do you guys think? If i could sell mine for say $12K, and pick the SS for $13K, i would STRONGLY consider it.

Have you driven it?

Seems like a really attractive deal though, dude. Plus if you get that nitrous kit as well, that car could really tear ***....though the stock rear might not like it lol.

Your car looks very clean as well though. Have you listed your car anywhere?

No i haven't driven it, but i've seen it in person. At the moment the guy is only considering selling it, so i wouldn't even list mine unless he was very serious.

That car seems appealing, though.

As for selling your car, of the mustangs you have seen in that price range, were most of them stock or near stock?

With the nitrous that SS will friggen fly. And ls engines are hard to beat. Doesn't seem like a bad deal if the cars in as good of shape as what u r saying

I say do it, my friend had a 2000 SS with just a Vortech on it, non intercooled, and he threw down 475 rwhp. Thats winning

Pete, from what i've seen it kind of varied. I would say that most in that price range had at least some performance and visual mods, and similar miles.

To be honest i wouldn't even be tempted to consider this if the car wasn't in such pristine condition, and i didn't know the owner personally. Also i haven't seen too many LS1's with that few miles.

Back in the day i had a M-6 98 Z28 with just a K&N filter and Flowmaster cat back. Even with just that the car was pretty damn strong. I still miss that car sometimes...well mainly the LS1 motor itself lol.

I'd buy it to resell lol.... if it was a T/A i'd drive it, just never been a huge fan those camaros. That milage is impressive and i am a sucker for a clean car but still... i just don't like the bodystyle. Also LS-1 powa.

because racecar.

Sad that your cam spec issue is not letting you enjoy your car. I remember talking to you about how excited you were before and shortly there after the cams.

Either way you go you'll have a nice ride.
