Default Quick question about M3 wheels

Need my car to get inspected, but my DR have no tread and wont pass. Got a buddy with an m3, will his wheels and tires fit just for the inspection?

The bolt pattern I think might be the same but it's whether the offset and backspacing are right and will it fit the mustang hub or not. Those I cannot give you info on though.

After looking around looks like they might be from +35-45 offset, and according to miracerros.com says 17'' wheels are 30 mm offset. I have 18's on so is my offset greater than 30?

Rim size doesnt really matter all just depends on width. And the bolt pattern is different

Why wouldnt you just jack up both cars and remove one wheel each instead of posting on a forum?

You know... it only takes 5 minutes.
