convertible top not closing correctly

our convertible top not closing correctly. When we close it the windows are on the out side of the top. The windows seam to be leaning out about a half an inch. I am not sure if top caused the lean or if the window are causing the problem. I there a way to adjust the top? The windows?
Thanks for the help
Keith

When you close the top, are you then rolling up the windows or are the windows up before?

I'm not sure if there is a way to adjust the top itself, but in the past when I didn't know better I had rolled up the windows first then tried closing the top but by doing it that way resulted in a small gap IIRC...

Thanks I did not know there was a order to close the top. But I have closed it both ways. Could closing it wrong make the windows become out of adjustment?

You never want to close the top with the windows up. Never do that. Doing that will not make the windows go out of adjustment. They move up and down. Not much else that can be done. You could have broken something by putting the top up when the windows were all the way up but going out of adjustment just seems like a stretch.

Try putting the top up with the windows down and then put the windows up.

There's all sorts of adjustments available to make them right again:

I think he's talking about an adjustment inwards and outwards, like inside toward the driver/passenger or outward away from them.

Thanks that is what I was looking for. I will see if it works. I needed the adjustment for the inward/outward for the passenger side and the drivers sids wing window is rolling up to far.
Thanks again
Keith
