Default Greetings from Mustang Week!

Hey all!
Down here at mustang week and having a blast. So far there's been the meet and greet at planet Hollywood and the auto-x and fun runs. Surprisingly at the auto-x, I took 5th place overall! That was a fun experience that I think everyone could enjoy! Right now we're sitting in te hooters of north Myrtle waiting to cruise up to darlington dragway for drag night! Lots of cars here ready to race! I'll update as things go, but everyone at some point in life if you're into mustangs should make the trip to mustang week! I'll have pictures as soon as I get back!

I am very interested in making this trip next year, would be cool to get a few more people in, turn it into a vacation for me.

I'm definitely going next year...i started looking into houses/hotels, going to make a vacation out of it with the parents and girlfriend. Only thing that will suck is trailering my car the whole 12 hr ride

Checking in again. Ran the quarter last night. Track temps were in the 140's all day. Best 60' of the night was a 2.125 and the best quarter run was a 14.59 @ 95 and change I believe. Then I blew the intake tube off and didn't want to risk it the rest of the night. As it ran, I believe with the cleaning supplies, full tank of gas, a cooler of drinks, and a fata$$ driver the car tipped in at over 4000lbs. I was pretty happy with the runs. Spun the tires to get the dirt off, launched between 1200-1700 depending on the run, 1-2 and 2-3 shifted at 5200rpm and shifted 3-4 at around 4700-4800. It was a good time. I kept lining up with a fox running similar times as me so that made it fun. But cars were running all but a full second slower than they should...except for the BBR car ran their fastest ever at 7.99@176.

It's an awesome time so far! Pics and vids of drag racing and auto-x coming soon hopefully!
