Default Help me pick out new tires

Time for new tires. The mustang isn't driven in the snow and rarely, if at all, in the rain. Thus, I'm looking for a good summer tire. I have 9'' wheels on all fours. Looking to get some 275/40/17 tires. I've been looking at Kumho Ecsta XS and Falken Azenis RT-615K. What tires do you guys recommend that will provide me great handling/grip and will last me reasonably long. I'm leaning towards the Kumhos since they should last longer than the Falkens. I don't want Nittos, I will not be drag racing the car, and it may get some autox time eventually. Thanks.

if you want something REALLY nice, look into the Nitto NT-05, not the "R" just the standard version, i had a set one my 95 and they were the best handling tire ive used to date...

the falkens are nice but a little too expensive for my blood for what they offer

another option are a set of Hankook RS-3's they're a REALLY nice tire, they just dont come in my size for the rear

not really a fan of Kumho's we have a set on the wifes Milan, and they wore out WAYYYYY too fast and werent the best handling so, not for me

You say no nittos, but I suggest the nt05's as well. Great tire for the money. But they'll only last about 10-12k miles maybe. Kumho's are good tires as well. But for the money, the NT05's are the best.

Idk why you say no nittos... I ahve the 555 extreme performance tires and after maybe 5000 miles they still look brand spankin new and they handle/GRIP great. I'm getting. 2.06 60" at the track and it corners really well...

Besides, you can prob order all 4 at AM, get the discount and then free shipping. Idk. That would be my 1st choice...
