Want front lower...cut springs OR remove ISOs??
Hey boys..im wanting my front end about another .5-1in. Would you reccomend cutting the springs (I have the pro kit on it right now) or just remove the front isos? Which is better?
I really don't want to drop 200 on different springs like sportlines or super sports...so this was my cheaper alternative..
Thanks guys!
Pics would be good too if you've done the same thing!

Neither is a good idea.
You'll be able to sell your Pro Kit and the Sportlines are really low. I have a set that I am about to raise up a tad bit in the rear. You won't regret spending the money.
If you cut your springs, you will regret it and be unable to recoup your money. The isolator is there for a reason. Leave it be.

coilovers
But anyways, I'd just try to find someone that has springs that wants to trade out of them. That way youre at where you want to be and they are too. No money spent anywhere. But coilovers will always get my vote!!!

I was recently in the same position when i had the pro kit, wanting to lower my ride a bit (especially the front) while keeping the pro kit springs. Everybody told me DO NOT cut those springs because they have a progressive rate. So then i thought about taking out the isos, but after all my research and whatnot, something told me it would not be enough of a drop to warrant doing such a thing... so i ended up with the super sports lol. I am glad i went with these springs, as they look much better than the pro kit. Not too low, but just right IMO.
I guess what i'm saying is that if you won't buy different springs then i'd try removing the isos and go from there.

I removed my ISO's. I have no noises or anything. Lowered it a little more, but I think it is perfect. I would not cut aftermarket springs for sure, and really would not even recommend cutting stock springs for that matter.

After just redoing my suspension. I wish I bought the coil overs off this guy and installed those instead. But at the time money was a little tight. Still should have did it.
Don't cut your springs. Just remove the isos. At least you can put it back and if it makes noise you can but them back.

Not sure why alot of people are saying keep your isos, I have all of mine out and it's pretty much the exact same as when I had them in other than a slight bit of noise in the rear which doesn't bother me anyways
