Default Help! I need Somebody!

Hey guys. So here is the dilemma: I now have a 4.6 block but no rotating assembly. I was wondering what kit I should buy to drop into this block. I want fully forged internals for it so any help would be much appreciated especially if you have the product that you suggest and use it daily. Thanks guys!

Factory Cobra Crankshaft, Manley rods, and any aftermarket piston. But more importantly what are you wanting to do with it? Blower, Nitrous, Turbo, what are your realistic HP goals?

I have a P-1SC procharger that does 8PSI and i was hoping for somewhere in the neighbor hood of 500HP? hopefull? I want to trade my P-1SC and get the D-1SC but I for sure want to stick with Procharger I like that it has its own oil system and the way it sounds at idle and while at high RPM. Its great lol.

Well depends on what you want to spend. I'd only trust jon tymensky building my motor personally. But he is expensive.

+1 for Procharger, but you can easily take the P1SC to 600-700HP. Are you running an Intercooler?

Built internals and fuel system you can easily make 500hp.

I am running intercooled. Air to air. But no one has still answered the question of which internals to drop in! Anyone have any ideas?

Give us a price range. Also, is the block already freshly machined or does it need to be still? If it still does, you may want to lok into getting a shortblock already assembled from a company like mmr.

From talking to MMR, I wouldnt want to buy anything important from them. Their reps are eager to help, but they are also eager to tell you exactly what you want to hear.

Jon Tymensky has a reputation. He is one of the people responsible for the mod motors we all love, that are taking boost at 150k+ miles and kicking hard. The dude knows his stuff. I met the owner of the direct port Nitrous car(Comp orange in color), we stopped and had a nice long conversation about Modular Performance and he said the motor is awesome and Jon was awesome to deal with. Very knowledgeable obviously, as he built the damn thing, and he comes with the name the "Mod Father". I dont know about you guys, but I'd be wanting someone who designed the motor to build it again and use all the techniques that ford wouldnt use in production because they cost too much money for mass production.

Jon knows the in's and out's, he knows the up's and down's, of these motors. He truly knows how to make them shine. Thats why I would, and will choose, Modular Performance when I purchase my shortblock.

+1 on Tymensky. I've been to his shop several times, and have talked to the man for several hours. Some of the things that he has told me about MMR and others would blow you away. Let's just say that sometime you get what you pay for in life. They call John the Mod Father for a good reason.
